It turns out that the dumbasses at Netgear have some little quirk in thier configuration program.....the username field already has a space at the beginning, and if you don't notice it, your username will be sent as "username" which the remote server really doesn't like. I've been screwing with this thing on and off for 2 weeks over that crap....hehe
