go to the router thru the browser and see if it is connecting to the dsl server.
if you are trying to use the winpoet on your pc to connect, it will look for the modem not the router.
right click network neighborhood
properties
highlight the tcp/ip for the nic
properties
dns disable dns
wins configuration use dhcp
ip address obtain ip address automatically
ok
now highlight the ppoe for the nic and remove it
ok
before you reboot open ie
tools
internet options
connections
lan settings automatically detect
setup check the bottom radio button for lan
next
bottom lan button again
next
reboot
now just fire up your browser. it should connect
