I had problems with xteq-xsetup when I tweeked some settings on my second PC it hosed up my internet access with my modem and I ended up re-installing windows on that machine. it was a 400mhz E-machine but xteq-xsetup worked fine on my 1.3 home built.
it might have just been a compatability problem and it may work fine on yours.
