I suppose I could try it and if its bad I can just reinstall 95 and recreate the OS sandwich.
I took pains to get very standard equipment like SBLive and nvidia so I should be lucky, thats if the bios flash I have in mind works out OK !
I tried to DL the 1007 bios for the CUSL2 from Asus and the link turned up 1006.a which is not the same board ie its for the micro ATX. SO I found the 1007 file but how do I know it is what it seems to be ? There have been horror stories about people dling 1008 and flashing it only to lose their board.
SO basically somehow the bios karma is way bad for this thing at present and its making me feel a bit cautious.
