Pardon my ignorance - but what you are saying is that he has a radio hookup on some analog frequency...and this is handling the 4.5Mb fine....I hadnt come across radio networking before - although had thought it might be possible, albeit a little noisy at times....
any links or URL's on more info...
We only have microwave satelite stuff here in Aussie - that I know of and its 250kbps with a dish and phone uplink. (thats besides ADSL)
