The thiefs that hit people in the detroit area check air ducts, the bottom of draws, all parts of the bed including inside. They clear out closets
looking for hidden panels (floor, wall, ceiling), they even check the back of closets by stairwalls (that unused space). Behind pictures just everywhere. My old house had one perfect hidden
spot & a good one also.
