I ve had numerous problems with the drivers myself... Although im currently running the ones you have and seem to be working fine. What ive found that makes it alot better is if you disable the soundblaster legacy support in your device manager. This causes it to run in native dos mode. Just go to soundcard section and highlight the soundblaster tab out, hit properties and check off disable in hardware profile. Hope this helps.... What I find horrible with these cards is the microphone input.... Thing hasnt worked right since day one. Friend of mine had same problem excepthe sent his back. he went trough 4 of them to get it right. Ive had a SB Live but for some reason i like this one better. go figure. |
