My chips are marked Taiwan.

There are several codes on each chip, here they are.

56900BPT

NT5OS16MBAT-7K

That last set of numbers and letters might be slightly off, I'm not sure
about the "O" (is it a letter O or a zero?) and is that a letter S or a number
5 next to the 16? Hard to tell, the printing is so small on the chips and I
couldn't get a close up look due to the spot they are in inside the case.

So, what does that say about the quality of these chips, MS? How OC'able do
you think they will be? Will CAS 2 be likely? If so, where in the BIOS would I
go to try CAS 2? As Joe mentioned above, I take it that trying decreasing CAS
represents no risk to data on the hard drive?
