hmm there was a time when the blue screen of death was just a myth to me - that was before the upgrade from Win95 to ME. Honestly in three years of use I did not discover what the BSOD was and then I got a crash course in crashing when I got ME.

Saying that it sounds as though my system is now about the same as everyone elses ie not very stable. I guess Win2k is looking more and more attractive.

MS on the other hand need some competition cos I cannot for the life of me see why a GUI needs to crash - ever.
