I thought it was the whole mainboard going bad.
It did everything there was to do to indicate it was a board problem. Wouldn't boot into winders,couldn't reinstall winders got a stack overflow error, WPF in OD and OE, (Which is normally ram or a chipset on the board) then I was digging around reading and swapping things and trying to reinstall winders or at least SYS C it and when I killed the onboard sound everything got right with the board and winders went back in. Been running fine since.Not sure AC97 sound isn't a problem on other boards.
