OK. I pulled off the stock H/S of a 1 GHz SLOT 1. Put on a dual fan from my old 650e with a shot of silver goop. Powered up and temp slowly climbed above 120 f. What should I check first?Yes, fans work, side XT Card Cooler works. Letting it cool down. Real problem getting the old H/S off. No, didn't scratch the cpu, that I know off. I did I kill my new cpu???? |
