Well...let me put it this way....I've been working with computers for about 20 years, starting with a Radio Shack (Tandy) Co Co 1.
(And I'm only 26....pretty good, huh?!

Anyway, I've been working inside them for close to 10 years now, and I was debating taking the A+ course before I took the exam.
I didn't. I'm glad. It would have been a complete waste of money.
They (did...I know it's changed a little since I took it...) gave you two parts to the exam, one hardware and one software...45 minutes for each half. Then on top of that, 15 minutes for the tutorial of the testing software (which I figure, if you can't figure out how to run the software, you shouldn't be taking your A+ in the first place....). 105 minutes for the total exam. I did all three parts in under the 15 minutes for the tutorial.
The word pathetic comes to mind.
