Does sound like you need to start a new post with this subject matter as I read the maximum PC magazine & you will be lucky to score even with your friend on your limited funds. Alienware does setup the gaming computer so you can OC it also CPU & Video card. Like ben said
DDR will be a must also a good IDE raid setup, you will need a G4 3 thats pushed farther then
the brand your friend will have.
If your friend decides to OC then you may lose before you start.
This is a good time to build a system thou as prices are down for now.
