Floppies are still handy for backing up small exe's & Zipped files, yes they still make some of these files that small yet. I also use floppies
for repairing problems & I have just started working with FAT 32 HD's & having to back up the partition's to an IDE mobile HD rack & using spinrite 5.0 for HD repair. I would be lost with out the floppies. I also have made little DOS programs for my works computer to help them out they have to chart the fuel unleaded & diesel usage, they were doing lots of math by hand, with
a computer sitting in front of them ?.
I also am using the mobile rack more now for myself & started saving our CD colection on a 15
gig HD & I am saving the orginal waves too & the new high quailty MP3's. The HD only cost $57 so I think its a great deal all around. Also its a good
thing we do not have alot of music either.
