I have a new asus mobo (A7A266) with a 1.333ghz thunderbird and 256mg DDR memory.
going to www.pcpitstop.com and running their system check I get 2 messages:
1. unusually low memory performance
and
2. cach speed of my hard drive is poor
also I put in a new Maxtor 30gig 7200rpm@dma100
I think I should get a better rating on this system.
I saw in my BIOs where I can change my PCI Latency it defaults to 32 nad it goes up and down from there.
is this a bad thing to change they reccomend leaving it at the default setting.
