I think it is fair the way of how they did that, well, not quite since there are so many hidden BIOS parameters that play into performance. One example: The Iwill uses an AGP latency of 6 by default which is too fast for some cards, that is, with the ATi Radeon, you have to increase it to 10 to get the card running. The AMD 761, on most boards uses a latency of 20 which is 3 times as long as the Iwill standard setting. Guess which board is faster in memory intensive 3D applications.

This setting is not specified in most standard BIOS, neither are settings like read write turnaround or internal command latencies. If anyone would actually set the BIOS parameters to be really equal, then we could talk. Just beating on the memory timings is a dead horse but at least they tried.
