there is a setting in the bios to enable the controller.... try to switich the ide cable around too..i had trouble with a WD drive doing the same thing with ME...i switched the cable around... u do not have to load the drivers first... doesnt make since... the drivers are for WIN so it has to be loaded first... load right after WIN finishes loading |
