Not SoftEncode but a little proggie that takes a 44/48KHz Wav and filters it in someway to produce 6 channel AC3 output.
EG:
LR the same but reduced db
Center=mixed LR
Rear = LR with reverb/ms delay
Sub = <300Hz or something similar.

Also interested in a a 6 channel editor, soft encode doesnt allow any editing, and Nuendo I think needs a 6 channel sound card...

Just want to do cuts, splices and fades at this point...
