Depending on which side of the fuse you tap. what you should do though is check which side of the fuse socket has juice, and run the wire tap from that side so that you avoid the fuse entirely. Otherwise you might be popping quite a few fuses. Although personally I avoid fuse taps as they add current to wires that might not be designed to take it. I'd just run an accessory fuse block straight from the battery.
