If the socket is empty with no pins to slide a fuse in then it is dead for sure, most of the time
if there are pins for a fuse it should be live you have to figure out if it has power on all the time
or when the key is on. The fuse boxes have junctions on the back side & should only be a few wires.

A new toy or a problem ?.
