I have to give a warning here as I did use X-10 products in the past way back to my tandy color
computers, mainly as alarm clocks. They do not
always work as these X-10 codes binary like are transmited thru the power lines & your neighbors
could have a device that could cause trouble
I did not experience this one
but mine did not always change states, power lines
are not very clean for sending signals thru. I did
move the tranmitter around & that did help. I have not used the X-10 stuff for around 6 years now,
they are also known as House Codes.
