Which mainboard? If it has the VIA chipset I assume you installed the latest VIA 4 in 1 drivers or if it's Intel then their latest drivers.
I don't always do a nice fresh install of winders when I change mainboards (Actually I'm more apt to not do anything but slap the HD in there and let winders fight it out. LOL) But I do make sure I install the latest drivers after I finally get loaded into winders. This usually fixes those little glitches...or after a dozen or so reboots winders finally gets it's act together and gets it right.....usually. (WIN98, original)
