It is SDRAM, if it's 168pin, and in order to tell what speed it is, look at the long string of numbers on one of the chips on the RAM, at the end of it, there's a number, 12, 10, 8, 75 or 7

12 is PC 50(???) 10 is PC66, 8 is PC100 75 is PC133 CAS3, 7 is PC133 CAS2
