...the way to go would be to stay with SDRAM for now. You probably already have some you can use, and that will give you some time to wait for cheaper/higher quality DDR. I'd suggest the Iwill KK266 (Via KT133A) with a 1 GHz AXIA T-bird. Then, in 6 months, you can pick up another 1G AXIA (or maybe a couple Palominos) with your DDR (hopefully PC2100 at CAS2) and dual board.
