Sharing a folder means naming two folders the same on both computers and selecting from the drop down right click list for file sharing on the Host (source) computer

you also have to enable file sharing on the host computer in control panel > network where you will also find details of the computers network identity which you may have to supply when initiating DCC.

But it is really slow when you use printer port type cable like Ludicrous sais.
