I have 1 pioneer CD-DVD 16x player and 1 plextor 12/10/32 CD-RW. When I try to copy a copy-protected CD with CloneCD (with fast error skip on), only the plextor can read the CD and then does a successful duplication, while pioneer fails to even read the media with CloneCD.

Why is there such a huge disparity in performance between 2 top-name-brand products?

CD-RWs obviously have much higher requirements (much finer LASER quality and the like) so naturally they can read media better (nt) - GrimRC -[4/28/2001 3:33:52 PM (GMT+0)]
