Some commands:
-cd ( change directory ) type "cd .." to get one level up
-ls lists dir content ls -l gets you some more details
-touch create a file or change time of an existing file
-rm remove a file
-mkdir create a directory
these are the basic file / dir commands which are about the same on all unix systems.
use gzip and tar to pack/unpack archives
I guess samba will need to compile first.
You'l have to extract the archive ( somewhat with tar -C ) then make and make install to get it ready...
My last linux actions are a few months back. I just compile and execute programms under QNX ( at work ) - no samba and the like...
