I Might be rich??....help on cybersquatting?...

I worked for a major mining company in Australia up until 2 years ago.
they paid me out but I was into the internet and noticed they hadnt registered their dot.com, so I did....that was 2 years ago....before some thought cybersquatting was a crime.....that was then this is now.

I have this webv address and its due for me to renew.
This mining company has contacted me (approx $1.5billion market cap) and want their dot.com.
Well I might just give it to them at cost, they seem pretty happy about that, afterall they paid me for 5 years....then again....
I might want to see how much it means to them. They have main protals for the company, but this is a brand that they sell around the world as a patented technology. they want their customers - who each pay US$1M per licence - to go through this dot.com that I have and want me to give it to them.

Has anyone had any experience or have any links as to what my rights are here.
I might not want to play hard ball - just maybe a few thousand for my "visionary" purchase 2 years ago.... ;>)
Afterall - I might want a job back there and one of the guys talking to me at the moment is one of my present referees....(hmmm difficult..)
