I have microsoft optical USB wheel mouse. Now I dont know if it is the USB but since I changed it over it has taken up skipping if moved with any speed.

I play RTS as FPS make me feel motion sickness !! I have particular difficulty with scrolling the view window using the mouse which I do with a sharp movement, I often find the cursor has moved in the opposite direction from the way I intended and is pushing the view in the wrong direction. My optical has benefits, and its more reliable than my MS ball wheelmouse re dirt, but they're not ideal for gaming.

I have no info for comparing opticals MS & Logotech.

I might experiment putting it back on PS2 just to see if thats it.

Maybe someone should do a review
