The DDR boards are actually getting pretty decent. The latest revisions of the ASUS A7M266 (the only visible difference is that the value of the termination resistors on the DIMM slots has changed from 33 to 27 Ohm (funny how that happened after I asked them why they deviated from the AMD reference design) is rock stable and there have been enough guys who pushed this board to 155-160 MHz fsb.
If you load the new 4.80 reference AMD chipset drivers (you have to get the sucatrek file from win98SE though) you get a nice 5-10% performance bump over the older drivers off the ASUS CD..
The Iwill KA266 and the upcoming Plus are very mature, too at least, I havent had any problems but then, I tend to not stress my systems too much
