I just spent the whole day trying to figure out why my card doesn't work... Well in ATI's words:
"In some instances, the ATI TV Player provided with the ATI-TV WONDER/TV WONDER VE may change to a "Video In Player", after restarting the computer. The "Video In Player" does not offer an option to watch Television."
How wonderfull. Well I found out that if you disable any ATI programs from startup with msconfig this problem goes away.
My NEW problem is that whenever I try to playback a captured MPEG file in fullscreen format, the video gets squished as if the player thought that my video had an aspect ratio of 16:9. However, the video was captured at 640X480 and so it gets distorted. I have tried different players, and different capture resolutions but nothing seems to help. Other mpeg files that were not created with the tv wonder software is fine. What's happening?
