Since you are so adept at tweaking, you shouldn't have any problem finding a Slot1 motherboard so you don't need a converter (not that you could get one anyway).

Asus P3V4X was a trusty ol companion to my Slotty until I upgraded to a socketed P3. It's a finnicky board, but works great if you tweak it right.
