havent quite come to terms with DDR yet....
I sort of understand the up/down Clock cycle theory and I assume its a bit like ATA100 80conductor idea for HD's.

I presume it stresses the the registers of the Ram a bit hence the - "Athlon Tested" sales pitch.

Im not overly joyed by paying big bugs for HP RAM if it offsets the savings of an overclock regime, but if Kingmax150Hz stuff will do the deed I can get that here for about US$130-150 per 128MB stick.

I had a look at the infineon stuff at Mushkin and I'm concerned about import duty etc (+40% here) so that makes a Mushkin HP150-222 stick worth US$160...($112x140%+postage) unless I can get someone me to send two in an indescrete "domestified" parcel or can find someone who imports it already into Australia.

You mentioned before that..."what you spend on RAM you save on other problems down the road"...I appreciate this but am still wary of spending the EXTRA AUD$300 for the RAM alone....thats almost a dual processor setup....
ie: I can get generic PC150 Kingmax stuff for AUD$150/stick versus the Infineoon stuff for AUD$300/stick (incl import).

2xAUD=1US$
Comments appreciated
