you would need 4 Hard Drives of the same size. It would be one RAID, but you could partition to your hearts content. Oh, it would be half the available size, because 2 of the Hard Drives are backups and 2 are your Primaries. So, if you got 4 15GB. You would have one 30GB hunk to partition however you see fit. And if one hard drive goes bad no matter which one one of the backups take over. And two hard drives could go bad as long as you have one Master and one Slave left living. Check Promise's website for more info...and also read the manual on the FastTrak page 73 of 99 on this PDF explains the data redundancy of the 0+1 setup.
