minime, I use AMD K6-2/MMX with 128M of RAM and had no trouble installing Windows 2000 Professional. If you are concerned though, go to AMD website and download the drivers. You will have to know the chipset on the motherbrd though.
I would definitely get a bigger harddrive. My windows OS uses about 500 to 600 Mrg of harddrive and you would not have much room for more applications.This would give you the chance to move up to a quicker Harddrive which should increse speeding up file transfers. You can get a decent Western Digital HD with transfer spds of 7200 and 30G of storage for $120.
