I have a little problem...I can't get my cable modem (or even my nic) to work under linux. I have all the modules compiled and running on bootup (that came with the nic) but it assigns an irq of 0 to it...I called the cable modem company and they told me to use dhcp. I have no clue what dhcp is (i'm a linux newbie). What should I do? Please respond through e-mail (wow49865@aol.com) thanks a ton!!
