Hey guys hope you guys can help me on this one. Last night my little brother was playing Counter Strike and I guess while he was shutting down the game, it blue screened. He didn't tell me and when I got we to see it, I rebooted, but after the windows(win98SE) splash screen, my monitor stayed black and looked like it shut down(but my monitor light is still on and I can still here proccessing)

I thought it was the video card but tested it on my other computer(computer I'm using now) and worked fine. I re-installed windows and went to safe mode to scan for viruses and scaned the disk which picked up a boot error and it supposely fixed that. Then I went in msconfig to see if there was anything different, but not a thing.

Is my last resort formating?
