Ok...in your mail server setup, highlight the name of the pop3 server you're using and click "edit". Make sure the box: "Remember password" isn't checked for now. Try it again, and it will ask for your password right off. Make sure you type it in correctly, and see if it works. If it does, go back into the prefs, and re-check that box....you'll have to type in your password the next time you download, then it'll remember it from then on.

There's also the possibility that someone hacked into your e-mail service and changed your password. My brother had that happen to him.
