This can work believe it or not, but the chip & HS must be clean first. To get the best super glue bond the longer the better, find a weight you can
put on the HS to hold it down 8 to 24 hours, I glued things that had to hold themselfs up & clamped or weighted down for 3 to 7 days just to be on the safe side. Worked fine for me too, glued
a preamp & dobie units to the underside of a end
table.

There is a epoxy therma glue that you can buy from some eletronic stores but you would have to hunt it down.

you may have to remove the clip too, as it can short something out.
