I think the testing has been given to much attention. They teach the kids how to take the test and that is it. Plus, at least on the high school test, they don't even have a science part. I think that changed either this year or maybe in the next couple of years. My wife teaches physical science and they talked about doing away with that class so they could teach something that would prepare the kids better to take the science part of the test. I always thought physical science was an intro for physics and chemistry but I guess I was wrong??
