Since it was posted somewhere else already, I can give you a few pointers.
the NV20 is produced by TSMC with close to zero yield and the two parties are pointing fingers at each other.
ATi is working on the next driver revision already, that is, they are done but held back by the certification process.
In addition, there are a few issues I brought up with them, some of them were known already some of them were new and there is an entire group of software engineers working on them.
Also, ATi has learned the lesson from the Rage II and Fury driver disasters and upscaled their staff.
