Here's the problem I had and how I got around it...

I built a 900 MHz Athlon Slot A on a Biostar M7MKE. I had 1 133MHz/128 MB SDRAM. I have the hard drive, vid card, ect, ect... Plugged everything up and.....nothing. A blank screen. I rechecked the jumper settings for the CPU clock generator/PCI bus speed. OK. So I started screwing with the clock speed settings. Instead of setting it to 100 MHz (which was the recommendation) I bumped it up to 110 MHz. It booted. My SDRAM setting in the BIOS was 100 MHz clock speed. I changed it to 133MHz and then switched my jumper settings back to normal. It's worked ever since. Just start trying stuff, it'll boot sooner or later. I would not suspect any vid cards or motherboard or RAM. Sometimes you have to fake the settings out to get what you need.
