It's not ancient. 2 or 3 years old at the max. Like I said though I replaced the bios chip and was told by the folks at unicore that this would
support the new ata-100 drives. The fact that I get the 80 pin error msg when it boots up leads me to believe that it is expecting a drive that supports something greater than 33. I didn't get that message prior to putting in the new bios chip.
