I was wondering if it would make a difference in games such as Giants. I currently have a TNT original. I know this sucks big time, but I'll be getting a new card as soon as the next generation is released. You see, I never really needed to upgrade because before since all the games that I have tried were playable (I even tried the sacrifice demo and it's fine).

I then picked up a copy of giants and, even at the lowest settings, the games is unplayable. In the readme files they suggest using DX8 and so I was wondering if this would help or if it would totally screw up my system.
