Ok, I have had the same problem. Some cd-rws i have just stop working, and keep reading and reading and reading and wont do a damned thing, and you cant format them or anything. Reinstalling adaptec wont work, I have done it and also formated and notcied the same thing. Its not your setup csue that doesnt have to do anything with it. Possibly could be adaptec, its not casue its out dated or anything. Try nero, see what it does for you, but my theory is that some cd-rws just go bad. They are so cheap no, I dont bother and just move on to the next one. |
