I just read on slashdot.com that someone is porting SGI's IMD to Linux. That should look sweet.

I hope its actually being ported to X windows so I can run it on FreeBSD and OpenBSD....

Linux is still going strong, they just release kernel 2.4 and should be in distro's soon. Although for me linux is dead because I prefer BSD IMHO ok?
