i recommend the Linksys befsr41 router/switch/hardware firewall.
you will also need 2 more NIC's (network interface cards)and 3 more cat5/rj45 patch cables.

there is an added benefit of sharing files and/or multiplayer games across the LAN (local area network).



i've been happy with my linky. linksys is good about releasing firmware for this router (latest version 1.37).
at least $250us for all these pieces-parts.

the linky has a built in hardware firewall but i also use zone alarm software firewall on the pc,s.

or you could just find an old 486dx machine and set up a linux nat server but that would still require more nic,s cables and a hub or switch.

even if you lease 2 more ip's from the cable company, you would need more hardware.
