I am using win 98 first edition
I have 3 hardware configurations for my internet computer
1. internet only
2. LAN only
3. both internet & LAN
In start, settings, control panel, system, Device manager, you can pick a device &
double click or click properties you can check the disable hardware device box on the bottom &
the device will not work & those drivers will not be loaded.
The only drawback is if I want to switch from one hardware configuration to another & the computer is already on, I have to power down then power on to pick a different configuration
reboots do not work.
