My duron 700 does 950 at 1.8 volts on a msi k7tpro2. Using the chrome orb doesn't cool it enough to be stable. so I cut a blowhole in the side of the case and put a 5 inch panflow fan right above the cpu. Now rock solid at 950 with temps at 100-105, 110 at full load cracking rc5. system is up 24/7 since november. An added benefit of the fan is it also keeps the gf2mx cool. Did that cause didn't want to spend another 20-30 on a new heatsink. Already had this stuff laying around.

Without the fan it would get to 125. Get to best heatsink you can get, and use thermal paste and scrape the pink putty crap off.
