The system was a K6-2 400, Gigabyte 5AX rev. 4.1 motherboard and a standard case/PS. I had the same problem when I connected my CD-ROM drive to the secondary master. I was convinced it was a power supply problem too but then I changed the IDE cable and all was well. Maybe you should try changing all data cables just to be sure. |
